I could be wrong but I just can't see the owners going for Bilic. They don't like to take risks and I think they are sticking their neck out a little bit by going with him.

I'd imagine Benitez would be a far more favourable option because of his vast Managerial experience including in the Premier League.

Other than Klopp, I'd favour Benitez out of anyone that has been linked to date.

I wouldn't trust what i've said.

The Umbro thing was through a work contact, the Bilic thing is from a completely different person.

Goose confirmed the Umbro kit deal months and months ago. I trust his information all day long

We are so marketable it's unreal, the 2 Dave's aren't silly

For all their public protestations they WILL sell

Fair enough Penners, he must have a big input on who they sign though, and if you are manager and you ok spending £50mil on Lallana & Lovren, you've got what's coming to you.

ballotelli was his call and his call only though. no one else wanted him, not even the owners. but he stuck his neck out for him, hence my comment.

You must be joking. He's not fit enough for Neil and Karanka has more taste.

Hopefully he'll follow Sam to whatever unfortunate club he ends up at.

I see him going to Fulham, QPR or Derby.

Could see Norwich or Boro being keen on Nolan.

Expect a pay off though because it doesn't register against the ffp wage ratio

It isn't an impossibility that the owners have some investors to come in at the end of the season which could be another reason for the silence on Allardyce's future.

If we are truly looking at a Benitez then he will want a guarantee of a war chest to spend otherwise he ain't going to risk spoiling his CV coming to us as it will be difficult to take us forward without vast funds. All this new stadium attraction only goes so far. Any top top Manager will want a huge salary and a lot of transfer kitty. So new investors could be on the cards perhaps.

I know I am reading too much into it but from where I sit, I can see Sullivan & Gold and in their row, it is always the same people sitting there - Sully, his wife, the two son's, Brady/and or her husband and daughter, the Gold's Mrs & Gold - every game.

At the Everton game, there were 4 new people sitting next to Sullivan, 3 men & a woman.

Anyway, we shall see.

Are you being serious?

Re: David Sullivan quote
If Sam is gone, I'd very much expect Nolan to follow suit. I would think the club would offer him to others hoping they can get him off the wage bill.

Re: David Sullivan quote
Penners, I think Lovren, Sakho, Mignolet, Lallana & LAMBERT will also cost him his job.

Re: David Sullivan quote
Rodgers needs to deliver next season. He's been told that. This summer will be massive for them in the transfer market.

As ive said before, ballotelli could end up costing him his job

Re: David Sullivan quote
Many posters on here seem to think fatty would be sacked if he goes in a few weeks, it's just the end of his contract. That's not the sack , fatty has just fulfilled his contract and we say thank you very much and cya.

I also wonder what will happen with Nolan, if we can't sell him he still has a hefty wage and to release him and pay that off would cost £2m plus. If we keep him would the new manager strip him of the captaincy because you would think the new manager would want his own man as captain and someone who is likely to play all the time. I wonder what that would do to morale because it seems Nolan is well liked by the players.

Sounds like an endorsement for BFS. Like I say I recon they will extend him another 2 years.

Re: David Sullivan quote
I can't see them binning Rodgers this season, they'll give him another one I reckon. However they've got an easy way out if they do want rid as I'm sure CL qualification would have been a minimum target.

I'd be gagging for Klopp in charge if I was a filthy Scouse cunt. Would love (LOVE) to see him here.
